RE: i have 2 questions....
I have heard of unreliability using partition managers, but PowerQuest PartitionMagic 8.0 has never caused me any grief. Not to say it will be as perfect for someone else.

At that screen, just highlight your current partition, press D, then it will delete it, then install windows into that 'Unpartitioned Space' and select NTFS Quick. All done

When making a partition on a disk that has none to begin with, Windows sets the maximum partition size to a bit less than the amount of space there is.

-i'd say the best bet is if you can afford to wipe the drive clean just delete all partitions and make one the full size of thedrive
-you will always have like 8 mb of unused space
- the day after built this pc and installed windows i changed the size of 2 of my partitions and had no problem with partition expert, weather youd be wanting to do that with data on the drive is a different question

You could install Windows, and then use a third party program to resize the 70 GB partition to take up the leftover 5 GB as well.
Please never do that... Those third party partition manager programs can cause trouble...
PartitionMagic makes a very good work. I play with my partitions with that program and I never had a single problem.
