ok i was working on my laptop and then all of a sudden when i was typing the wrong letters were coming up. so when i typed a p it came up as a * and so on. i really don't now what to do, can anyone help me?

right if u look on the language section it might be on a differnet language u need to change it to english united kingdom

this would happen to me sometimes

e would be replaced by y etc...

normally a reboot would solve it

thanks but the language is on english united kingdom and i have tryed rebooting but its stays the same! thanks for the help though.

Doubt it, but do you think you spilt anything on your laptop?

Make sure numlock isn't on. i had some problems with num lock being on

Is it possible it could be like a virus causing this problem, I would run a virus scan to be on the safe side
