can other people view my oversized Displaypicture even if they dont have plus! or StuffPlugNG?

If so wich versions allow oversized display pictures to be viewed? is it only limited to MSN 7? or can it go far down to msn 4.7

If your contact is using MSN Messenger 6, he can see your oversized display picture even if he doesn't have Messenger Plus! and/or StuffPlug NG installed.

If your contact is using MSN Messenger 7, he will need Messenger Plus! and StuffPlug NG installed.

Similar to what it would look like when it is oversized, however, the box in which it is shown isn't large enough so it would appear chopped off, I believe.

Yep Tochjo, instead of the image being resized to fit into the size of a normal display picture (similiar to what msn messenger does if you imput a large picture into it without SPNG installed) it will only show a section of the upper left side of your oversized display picture to users without SPNG with msn messenger 7.
Segosa is newb.

Does anyone know if this will be modified so that like in MSN6.2 users that are not using MsgPlus or StuffPlug can view the enlarged picture?

This capability was one of the coolest reasons to have this program.

until you hoover over the image, then the box (and your convo window) will be resized automatically to hold the complete image.

As said before, people who are using MSN Messenger 6.x do NOT need stuffplug-ng to VIEW oversized display pictures...

It is only in MSN Messenger 7.x that MS added a fix for this so that any oversized picture will automatically be resized down/up to 96x96 pixels before it is shown.

And this fix is also exactly what StuffPlug-NG prevents to happen, so that people with MSN Messenger 7.x will also be able to see the oversized pictures. And that is why BOTH parties (you and your contact) need StuffPlug-NG if both of you are using MSN Messenger 7.x to view oversized pictures...
