Hi ,

I heard that there is a way to install a second MSN Messenger..Can you pls tell me how to do it?
I tried the patch but somehow I am not able to have it installed.
Pls give me the exact direction?

If you are talking about polygamy where you can have 2 instances of MSN Messenger running at the same time, you can use Stuffplug-NG

This is a plugin for Messenger Plus! and it has lots of other features as well.

you do NOT install a second copy of MSN messenger...

Once you have successfully patched it for polygamy, you just start a new instance of MSN Messenger by start\programs\Msn Mesenger 7.0

then you will have 2 msn icons in your system tray near the clock
so here you go ...

Be aware and remember that modifying MSN Messenger with third-party applications is illegal and not recommended, only under your own risk.
(When recommending a patch, you should always remind the other person that it's illegal)

Yeah. It's always better to suggest ways other than patches which is why i suggested stuffplug.

akhmu, I would use this plugin rather than a patch - it works just the same without modifying MSN.

i was just explaying to akhmu that will not install a second copy on the HDD and just start a new instance of MSN...
but you are right patching is illegal
