I could use this but then it looks suspicious if half of the core components of the taskbar are missing lol
Yea doing it that way, I either have to hide all running apps an dall system tray icons or none.

But anyways I've done it, it just has two buttons, Hide and Show.  If you have any problems/requests etc let me know.  I havent tested it on MSN7 but I think it should work.

It should hide:

  • All Messenger Conversations
  • Messenger Contact List
  • System Tray Icon

Atm it just changes the system tray icon to nothing, but I could add an option to change it to an icon of your choice if wanted?

Yeah thanks, i will try it tomorrow morning, the logo is fine, however one request : - can it look a little different? because the file name and the screen info kinda gives it away.

Thanks again

Something small and effective :) I made a simple drawing in Paint which would be good.

The window could be called Novell Manager and a little icon from
like this:

(Cropped of course)

Other than that something small and manageable would be lovely :)

Thanks!

edit:The show button seems a little dodgy, it sometimes reshows but sometimes doesn't :S

The actual msn, it just stays a clear icon at the bottom and you have to click it to open (dunno was this intended?)

Here it is, now has the Novell Icon and is called 'Novell Manage'

It should also reset the system try icon back to the MSN icon after showing.

Have fun :)
