well i had limewire opened becaue i was downloading music and i had i.e opened and i had 1 convo opened and all of a sudden msn exited and i.e wouldnt respond and when i tried singing into msn it said make sure internet was connected so i was wondering if limewire took up like all of the server or w.e and made it so i coudlnt use internet with anyhtin else???

Some P2P programs will use most of your bandwidth. Did you try closing limewire and trying to connect?

You see this happening often with Torrent Clients.

did the limewire kept on downloading?

yes...

@ sik: yes it kept dowloading.
@ matty: yes i closed and exited it and it allowed me to log in and everything worked

Well, that's your problem right there. Go into the options of Limewire and lower the max upload speed

awesome....but now im on forums and msn and i dont wanna screw things up so i will when im done
