Hi,

I noticed that the MSN original XML chat history log is created or updated after you close the conversation window.
Can anybody make it to save the chat logs every minute or so?
I know it can be done with Plus!, but I prefer the XML format.

Btw, I'm using MSN Messenger 6.2.0205, Windows ME.

No, there isn't any way of doing this I'm afraid, unless somebody creates a new chat logger that converts it constantly to xml... Would this not increase the memory-usage though, so it wouldn't be sufficient.

Using the Plus! logs or the MSN Logs is the only way to log your conversations in MSN Messenger at the moment I'm afraid, there is nothing else available at this time.

What do you mean by chat logger traxor?
I would like to make my own chat history with my own XML and XSLT file. But I haven't a clue how to get the text out of the messenger(api)

Anyway, there is a way to get the conversation history: Active Accessibility. However, it's not all that easy to use, as there's not that much documentation for it.
Look up AccessibleObjectFromWindow on MSDN to get in the right area
