MSN 7 activities no option of file transfer

O.P. Huh?  MSN 7 activities no option of file transfer
Hi all, thought maybe some of you could help me solve a problem i have with MSN messenger 7.0.0813 When i open a message box with a friend and click on activities, the only options i get are
Whiteboard
Remote Assistants
Application sharing, i tryed uninstalling reinstalling to get other options life file transfer etc? i have winXP pro with sp2
Any help will be highly appreciated and save me pulling more hair out!

Those are the default ones that are standard on MSN.

When you want to send a file you go to "file" then "Send A File Or Photo" in the conversation window :)

yeah i can do that, but all my friends using exactly the sam eversion as i have seem to be able to go to activities and select file transfer with remote assistants  white board application sharing etc i dont get that option and just wondering why i dont have it?

I have the other icons they are: "msn photo swap, Msn calendar sharning and file sharning it seems when you open the tab it connects to a server which county are you in? or maybe the services or offline.

im in london UK my friend lives 2 streets down and he is able to select it everyday just tryed and he was able to do it, i still cant do it ;(

i think i have it installed but have it unticked in startup menu (msconfig)  so i dont get it loading up everytime i reboot, do you think its something to do with that? i thought they were seperate messenger services? should i untick so it starts up and reboot? infact im gonn atry now ;)

HI ALL AND THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE, I TOOK WINDOWS FIREWALL OFF REBOOTED MSN GOT OPTIONS!!! RESTARTED FIREWALL REBOOTED MSN AND IT STAYED! WAHEYYY
