OK so this firewall Zone Alarm (actually its a Security Suite so everything) keeps blocking MSN Messenger.

I allowed every Plug-in like MsgPlus and StuffPlug-NG on it as well but it still doesn't seem to sign in. Now for the moment i uninstalled ZA but im gonna need help to have them co-operate.

P.S I am REALLY pissed off

When you try to sign into MSN Messenger what exact error message is displayed?

Do you use the Windows firewall as well, if so, turn it off.

Do you use any other firewalls apart from ZoneAlarm?

Have you given MSN Messenger access to the internet and to be able to act as a server? (In ZoneAlarm settings).

Errror message:

Signing into MSN Messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. 80004005

What access rights have you given it exactly?

Means All boxes ticked... and I've also done the same for Messenger Plus....

Set the UDP and TCP ports of your firewall to the messenger ones.
TCP port 80
TCP port 1863
TCP port 6901
TCP ports 6891 to 6900
UDP on ports 1503, 3389, 5004-65535

But since you had no luck with firewall off could be your router settings.

So ZA gives full access to Messenger... you sure it isn't just a problem with Messenger or your Internet connection?
