O.P. Couple of XP questions...
Just a couple of simple enquiries:
One - Is it possible to change the delay between pictures in the default slideshow function in 'My Pictures'?
Two - Once upon a time I must have clicked on the 'Do not ask in the future' tickbox when XP asked me if I would like it to remember my passwords. I would like to get this function back as it was quite handy. How can I do this?
I have had a quick look and can't find my answers so thanks to anyone who can let me know.

RE: Couple of XP questions...
for ur first question... download and install Tweak UI Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP
in the Tweak UI window > Explorer > Slide Show.. then on right, change the time delay for slide show..
and for second question, in Tweak UI, i think there is also a option for doing this but not sure ... well install it and find it ur self..

Thanks for the reply.
The tweaker managed to change the time delay for the slide show as you pointed out so that's great.
However, it did not have any options for reinstating the password function.
If anyone knows that would be great.

What password are you talking about on XP?
This option is usually in the program you are using.

Sorry, I'm probably being a tad vague.
The password function I mean is in Internet Explorer.
Say, for example, I was logging in to my eBay account. After typing in my password for the first ever time a box popped up asking if I would like the computer to remember my password to save typing it in next time (as well as remembering the username). On this pop up was a tickbox that said something like 'Do not show this message next time'. I must have selected this tickbox one time as it does not show up any more.

It's in Internet Explorer's Options Dialog somewhere. Can't remember where though.....

RE: Couple of XP questions...
In IE go to tools, options, content tab, then click autocomplete and check 'prompt me to save passwords.'
That should work for you.

Thanks.
However, it is already checked which I cannot understand as it definately does not pop up anymore.
Perhaps it's something to do with my firewall settings. I recently installed Norton Internet Security 2005 so maybe this is what is causing it.
Thanks anyway guys.

No...
Like said before, such options are set/unset in the program itself, not anywhere else. In the case of this, go back to your MSIE options and open your list with your saved passwords and delete the password/site from the list to let it popup again for that site.
EDIT: see Sunshine's post for the path to the options I'm talking about...

RE: Couple of XP questions...
Found it: tools, options, content tab, under "personal info/data" click on "autocomplete" there's an option to delete whats stored already inthere (under "history autocomplete").
