O.P. Cant change status
Today I was on msn messenger and I tried to change my status to offline [from appear offline] and I got this message [twice] :

that means either the connection has died, either it's too slow to reply to your request to change status in time

does signing out & in again fix the problem?

I got it before, i think its to do with the whole MSN cannot sign you in cos its too busy, they must be updating or something :S

This happens to me when my wireless connection dies.  Just wait a while and try again;) This is post should be in MSN/Windows Messenger:mipdodgy:
