I know that it isn't really the right place to post that, but well after all it's a plugin!
Here is my question: would anybody like to create a Gaim plugin that would "read" some basic features of messenger Plus! ?
Here is the problem: I've decided to make the step to total-linux on my computer and the only thing that I can't replace is messenger Plus!: I would like to have a plugin on gaim that would only read colored nicknames for example and sounds, why not?
I'm sure it is possible for nicknames, but I don't know and don't have any time to do this...
I don't want to lose Plus! under linux!

its probably possible for a Gaim plugin to make use of Plus! colour and formatting codes but unlikely to be able to use custom sounds as that would involve the Plus! Sound Server, which I'm pretty sure I remember Patchou saying he only wanted Plus! to connect to not any other software.

ok for the sounds...
can you think about another "essential" (every single Plus! feature is essential! ) feature that would be interesting to be implemented?
