O.P. Drivers for Windows x64
Hi!

I've lately installed Windows XP x64 Extended Edition and now I need 64 bit drivers for my hardware. Before I start intensively searching the Internet (I did already a quick search, but couldn't find what I'm looking for :-(). I thought it might be a good idea to ask you :-). Maybe someone found already what I'm looking for and I can save some time :-P.

Ok, what do I need?
1. a driver for Soundblaster Live audiocard,
2. a driver for Creative Nomad Zen USB 2.0 mp3 player
3. a driver for my Logitech QuickCam Communicate
4. Logitech Mouseware
5. Drivers for my Netgear MA 101 Wireless USB Adapter (or does someone have another USB adapter which works with Windows x64?)

Hopefully you can give me some hints! Anyway thank you very much for your help and time to read this post!!! :-)

not facts, just calculated assumptions:

As this is an very old soundcard, and almost a standard, I suspect you don't need specific drivers for this either and it will be supported by default.

I don't need a specific driver for my Creative Nomad Zen USB MP3 player in XP. All you can do with it is already supported by XP; It is simply just another usb drive. So I suspect this would be no different in x64...

Why would you use 64 bits drivers, if the 32 ones work fine?

Thanks for the replies! I also thought, that Windows would support the Soundblaster Live (as the 32bit version does), but after installation I had no sound *-).
Concerning the Nomad Zen: I didn't know that Windows recognizes it is as an extra drive :-$. It never worked in this way with my Windows XP installation, but I'll give it tomorrow a try :-).

Do 32bit drivers actually work on 64bit Windows? I read somewhere that it wouldn't work. Also during installation I inserted a driver disk for my SATA controller with a 32bit driver and the Setup program said it couldn't use them!? Nevertheless I'll try this too tomorrow morning. Would be realy cool, if it works!!! :-D

windows 64bit doesn't have any support for 32bit drivers, therfore it may seen the 32bit driver installed, it isn't being loaded by windows, only 32bit software works with windows64bit

RE: Drivers for Windows x64
to my knowledge there are no official 64Bit drivers out for any hardware as of yet, so really ur still using 32Bit drivers for al your hardware,  if you do a thorough search through google for 64Bit drivers you may stumble upon a page where M$$ are testing 64Bit drivers,  i  did find a page but didnt bookmark it myself,

I've already sound and also I found a driver for the Nomad Zen mp3 player on Creative's website. I'll start now searching for a driver for the Netgear USB adapter. Without network (i.e. internet) access it makes no sense for me to use Windows x64 ;-).
