That screenshot looks amazing. I really can't wait for it to be released. Then no more loads of windows flashing all the time. Yay.

I want that with drag and drop tab sorting a la Avant Browser, middle click to close
Middle click to close is a good idea. As for containers, it's on the todo list but maybe not for the first release of this feature (I want to keep it simple at first :)).

It works the same way of course :).

I'm sorry to break your dreams but the button you see in the title bar is from a software called UltraMon which has nothing to do with Messenger :). However, if you want to know, you can "jump out" a convo with a menu option already.

I tried to keep the GUI simple so that it doesn't modify the appearance of the original window too much. If you don't liek it, maybe you have a suggestion? ;). Of course, the colours adapt with the colors of the window (just like the current side bar).

Thank you for all these great comments, I'll do my best not to disapoint you! :gfdrin:.

Ooh sexy :P I'm still in love with alt-tab though so tabbed Messenger will take a bit of getting used to.

Speaking of which, will ctrl+tab & ctrl+shift+tab switch between conversations as they do with tabbed browsing (etc) implementations?

Patchou, it really does look great, and this will definately be a feature that i will use everytime i use msn once it's released.

One thing though, if i was to click down the File - Edit - Actions - Tools - Help section, would that remove the tabs?

Why would it? the menu is always available for the curent active window. As for keyboard shortcuts, there will be several of them to go to the next chat, go to the next chat waiting for an answer, etc...
