O.P. ascii coloured nicknames
is there anyway to get ascii nicknames into color or if not is a plug-in going to be made for that sort of thing

You can still make Ascii nicknames colour by going through the same nickname colouring procedures. Type /nick<space> (then press ctrl+k to bring up the colours menu and choose a colour) then type or paste your nickname, press enter and you're done.
