I searched for this and it has been posted before but no real conclusion was reached.

It would be great if someone could create a proper working imitate plugin like in Message Discovery.

You can imitate a contact using quicktexts and stuffplug etc but this does not copy the other persons text colour.

I know message discovery has this feature but it would be great if someone could write this for Plus! as a lot of message discoverys features are in plus anyway so it isnt worth running them both at once.

neither the messnger api or plus api allow acess to details about font/colour etc, messenger discovery can only do it as it uses a proxy and gets intercepts the protocol.

Someone could make a plugin with a packet sniffer built in to detect the font etc but its not really worth the hastle i dont think

I rather want to ask the opposite, make a plugin which kills this so annoying !imitate stuff.

(and nope, I don't want to select "override text format by default" in Messenger Plus!)
