Hi.

I know this sounds really stupid and ultra n00by but I would really like to be able to make a plug-in or something like that for MSN Messenger but I don't know how! Don't worry, I don't want a hole tutorial as that would take you guys ages and I don't want to waste your time but could someone please tell me where to start What programs would I need and stuff like that

You would need to learn a programming language like Visual Basic or C++ and you need a program to compile the dll, like Visual Studio from MS

i also would want to do this is there a free comfiler and any good guides?

Mmm, so are you saying to do a course or something to learn the code or could I do it myself?

not a course how did you learn html css etc playing around and i've became pritty good now

is there any goof guides are how did you guys start off

Yeah i thought not/hoped not. It all looks so complicated to me though, probably isn't once you know little bits, like HTML. Just need, as you said, a guide of some sort to help understand it and get used to bits so I can experiment to learn more.

I suggest to buy a book and read it and begin with some basic stuff and if you get a hang of it try to make a basic plugin.

And I thought that Borland was a free C++ compiler, but if you don't know how to code you better begin with Visual Basic. Don't know if there is a free Visual Basic compiler.

Out of experience I can tell you that Visual Basic isn't that hard to learn. I once made a little program to blink your keyboard lights

Was fun at school, people went crazy cause they didn't know how to stop it

BTW... You have to stop it by going to taskmanager and stop SysTray.exe

more about computers
and learning php and i have a lot of support about this
