is it possible to make a plug-in that will show how far you are into the song?

example:

Green Day - Holiday  --------|---

do u means to show the song with time stamp.. ??

It's probably possible, since that information seems to be given by Winamp (at least). But it would require that you update your nickname a lot, and that's not possible (you can update it a number of times per minute).

I think it's like that, correct me if I'm wrong.

nicks updates are limited but i dont think psms are

you can update you personal message every second with no restrictions.
I remember to see one plugin that does what you say but instaed of using that "-------|----" bar (wich is more complicated) it used the time of the song (like 2:12 mins)

i think you have to condiser it may take more thjan a second to update the time, which could leave it very far behind
