When I installed Messenger Plus I had this personal message, but ever since even if I change it, when I restart my pc, that personal message comes back! I have to change it everyday because the same old message keeps showing up!

It happens to me too, I think it happens when I change my personal message while my status isn't set to online. Whether it's only in a certain status I'm not entirely sure, I haven't really tried fixing the problem.
Try changing your PM while your status is 'online' and see if that works.

Yeah, it's done that for me too... I thought it was only when I tried to change it while I was on Away... But then one day I attempted to change it while I was online and it worked for like, five minutes but changed back... hasn't always been when I restarted the PC though.

I read somewhere that unchecking This is a shared computer so don't store my address book, display picture or background on it" under the security settings may work (if it isn't already unchecked) - Give that one a go

It's already unchecked, so that can't be it

Well, try changing your personal message then signing out instead of choosing exit in msn messenger

If you exit your msn messenger, it doesn't save any of your changes therefore not changing your old personal message

Maybe that's it because I usually don't sign out of messenger before I shut the pc!
