O.P. Huh?  NIS error...help!
i get this error....no matter how many times i click OKAY, it comes up again...what to do?

bah, i used to get this when i had norton thats y i changed to mcafee :P

usually the only reason it comes up so many times, is becuase there is still an intrusion going on but i should go away after a few clicks. if not restart your norton

It's the Norton worm protection that is comming up. You can not just turn off the notification but you can disable the worm protection by going into Norton, clicking options at the top. Click Norton Antivirus. Click Internet worm protection in the menu. Then uncheck the box "Enable internet worm protection (recomended)". Then click ok. When you click ok it will ask you how long you want it off for, if you want it off forever select perminitly then click ok.

On the MS website I linked you to, I noticed it said something about Blaster. I would suggest downloading and installing this patch, and then running the blaster removal tool found here.
