I've been using messenger for a while with only a very few problems. Then a couple days ago then sound in video conversation just stopped working. i have everything hooked up but it is muted and won't work. I have tried to reinstall but still it won't work. its not just me that has this problem my girlfriend has the problem on her end.(we onlt VC with eachother so i am very confused.

Did you try changing the settings?
Tools -> Audio/Video Tuning Wizard

Also did you upgrade or add anything to your MSN in the last few days?

Oh and the most common problem, checked the cables for damage and plugged in correctly?

well i found the problem. my computer likes to look for a fastrack controller and it never finds it so i went to the bios and told it to stop looking for it. well for some reason msn didnt like that. so i went back in to tell it to look for something that isnt there and msn is happy again.

i never thought the 2 had anything in common but i was wrong.
