Does anyone knows if you can change the text that's in your logfiles?

If i delete some text and than save it, it doesn't work.

Well if you REALLY want to edit text and it wont allow it,

open notepad,

copy all the current text

paste it into the new document,

edit as you desire,

save it to My Documents/Wherever

Someone probably has an easier way tho....

Exit Messenger completely first, then try editing the file. Are you trying to get rid of incriminating evidence? I've contacted the police..

if its encrypted...
turn off the encrpytion so its just a regualr .txt edit it turn the encryption on again i think that'll work

kind of makes loggin usless doesnt it?

if it isnt enctypted
just encrypt it with a password that only you know then there is no evidence because only you can open it

if you mean the log files that MSN Messenger makes i dont know how to edit those
