i dont think there is another plugin, is FF correctly set to ur Default Browser? .. go into FF Options an click on "Make Firefox Default browser" button again, an it should correct the issue

no it wont, i had this problem myself, how i fixed it was made a Complete new MSN account but with gmail.com which solved that problem, but if you go in to FF Options an click on the SET Firefox as Default Browser, should work, coz i also had to do that i think an it worked soon afterwards, even though i had it set in the Default Program access thingy as default i still had to set the button in browser options to use ff as default browser
