Is there a way to see if someone has MSN without adding them to your list? If so, how?

I believe not...I would suggest asking them, or ask anyone that may know them

Is there a way to type in the email address and then it shows you if they have a profile online or something like that?

Someone should be able to make something like that, it can't be too hard.

You could try to send them a message using

Actions > Send An Instant Message

although they have to have to "only people in the allow list can see me" unticked.

But how can you get to the actions without adding them?

altho not everyone has a profile

Yeah, i was thinking that the other day..because strangely someone spoke to me..and i was like 'i didnt add you..' and i usually look at the profile to see who they are, but quite a lot of ppl i know dont have one :/

In your main MSN window click Actions

I think there should be some way to establish who added who, because im fed up of people adding me then being told I added them :\
