When they said they were putting that in, I thought they meant that you're able to send msgs when you're offline. That wasn't the case though.

Without having a look one bit or googling at all, is there/will there/can you make a mod that lets you send msgs while appearing offline?

Offline Messenger  is a bot which allows you to leave messages for you msn buddies when they are offline

I like web2messenger better.

Um, I think Messenger discovery was supposed to have that feature. I've never tried it though, so I don't know if it works.

Web2messenger is different to Offline Messenger :\

Offline messenger adds a bot to your contact list so u can send a message via the bot to your contact, so when he/she comes online, the bot will add the contact and send the message

Web2messenger lets you send messages via the web to messenger...yes, it can give you messages when you come back after being offline, but not everyone has web2messenger

But you see I dont want an MSN answering machine service, I just wanna be able to still send messages while I'm apperaring offline.

Well that may be, but web2messenger or offline messenger have nothing to do with this topic and is not what the person is asking for.
