We need a ColorNick clone It was a great plugin but It seems it has some problems with the current Messenger Plus! or/an MSN Messenger 7.5. If you dont know what ColorNick is:

So is anyone willing to make a clone of it that works with current versions of Plus! and MSN?

ColorNick v2 compatible 7.5.0299 ?

Well I have ColorNick v2 and at one point, I got an error message to say it wasn't working, blah de blah... and this is what I did:

Add/Remove Programs > MSN Messenger 7.5 > Change > Repair

and now it works fine

ColorNick is supposed to be working with any Messenger version, as it only relies on Messenger Plus! to set the nickname... so it must work with Messenger 7.5 (and it does for me indeed). If you encounter a bug with the plugin please post a message in the "official" thread.
