the messenger starts but the windows come out bank and ppl can talk to me but i can't to them, i'll provide a picture to start a visual of my problem.

that looks a problem with the server. has it just happened tonight? What i'd do is wait for the morning and see if you still have the same problem. it'll probably just be a temporary thing and is more a problem with msn messenger servers than with your actual computer/msn.

umm. have you tried to uninstall MSN Messenger an remove it from  C:/Program files?MSN Messenger < an delete the messenger folder, an then go to if you have Win2000 or XP. go to

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger <-- an delete that folder, an then reinstall it

i had that problem with the beta MSN, are you trying to run anyother version of MSN?
