I mean, it's not listed in the official Microsoft MSN page. So how can I verify if my current MSN installed build is up to date? Any webpage that informs the latest build number?

He ment about verifying if his version of MSN Messenger is the last one available to the public, not just knowing what version he has installed.
You could check regulary on any important MSN Messenger news site, like Mess.be. As soon there's a new version available to download, they post a new article.
