I think that it is a good idea that if you choose to show the contact nick with the contact name the you put, that the emotion on their nick should appear. What you people think about that?

This is a known limitation in the custom name feature. It is because of the way that plus shows custom names and it makes it impossable to show the emoticons in the nicks.

Yep, its caused because Plus! changes the view of your contact list to "view by email", this allows Plus! to show custom names but also because MSN Messenger thinks it is showing emails emoticons cannot be shown. Its a limitation meaning that Patchou cannot do anything to solve this.

Yeh i would like something like this but i dont really think people would use it and you would need to host them on your own server wasting your space bandwidth and money

And you have to have it so the other person needs the plugin

Well, he might be experiencing the same problem or may want to ask the same question but he doesn't know if it is already asked/suggested if he doesn't understand the post...
I know this might not be the case but it could.
