How come I cannot see contact's personal messages?

I've thought of possible cause:
Mess Patch, but I didn't enable the Hide Personal Messages In Contact List.

did you check any plugins that could cause this?

I've checked Phoenix and StuffPlug, but couldn't find anything relevant.

this happened to me a couple weeks ago, every so often ill be able to see them if im lucky, seems like luck of the draw but i think its msn's problem and being able to deliver certain people with the psm or a patch caused it and is unable to fix

well my next plan is to delete my application data for msn messenger, but first mi need to back up all my msn messenger content

BTW anybody know of a program that can do this ?
