Hi All

This is my 1st message in this forum, after I have PM-ed Patchue a private message but seems like he got no time to answer or God knows...

Anyway, the reason why I have opened this topic is concerning to "ask for a possibility of adding a new language to the Messenger Plus!" , hope this topic won't be closed and considered as worthless !!


Ermmm, my question is, if it would be possible to add another language to Messenger Plus! Sound Server... what im trying to say is that when you create a sound & song and upload to the server, it gives you options like:

- Which category
- What Language

There are lods of language exccept my language which is Albanian!!
So, yeah... if it would be possible to add that, would be very thankfull

well I think this could be done....but thats not my job..lol and just to tell you.... Patchou doesnt respond to prvate messages...in fact I think he has disabled them....sorry.

He got so much spam in his PM-box that he seldom reads it. Instead you did the right thing and created a thread for your suggestion.

although it is in the wrong forum. The "Translation" forum is for translating Plus! into other languages. Not for suggestions, even if it has to do with another language. For a suggestion like this (or any other one) you should've posted in "Messenger Plus! General Talk"... anyways...

That's indeed up to Patchou to add it. But there shouldn't be any problem adding it (though it does require that all the translators for Plus! have some (little) work todo again as each language name must also be translated).

They can't do anything about it, nor can they provide with more info. The job of a sound moderator is to moderate sounds, nothing more.

It is entirly up to Patchou to add it.

Cheers for ya' reply... yeah I understand what u guys mean even thought it wouldnt be a difence to others adding another language BUT that all depends on Patchue

Hope he will read this thread and give an answer to that... hope he will say "yes no problem"

I was not on for a long time... working on my web!

Anyway.. ermmm did Pachue added Albanian language to te list?!

Would it be possible to talk diractly to Pachue or to one of his close colleague ?! Its about the start page of the http://shoutbox.menthix.net ... I saw that there are loads of languages the user can select and read the language he/she understand!!

So I was wondering, if you guys would let me translate the words for you (the index of the start page) then adding the Albanian languge to the list too ?!

Is that a deal?!?

No. Everything is still the same since last time.

Also, I don't see this happening soon now, knowing that a new update of Plus! has just been released (one of the last updates for version 3). In other words, he isn't going to release another version just for that alone so soon after this release.

Maybe later, who knows...

The adding of Albanian to the sound server (which this thread was about IIRC) is a completely different issue than translating the website.

Nevertheless, if you want to translate the website, best thing to do is to contact Patchou.

If you want to translate Plus! itself (yet another issue), than you can freely do this. For this read the instructions here.
