I just need one for basic photo editing and since my powerhouse laptop is being monopolized by my family, I just need one I can drag arround wtih my that doesnt weigh 10 pounds.

BTW, Office depot often has BTO (build to order) Compaq/HP Laptops that have AMD Athlon 64 Procs, and 15.4" WUXGA screens. There great lappys, battery life sucks, but it works great for games and such.

Yeah, I don't see myself playing games on a laptop or long term work, if I ever get one, it would be to do work on another place than my room, surf the web in the living room or outside. Maybe watching a movie at the park or in the car. That laptop would be perfect for the price

In my opinion, any screen bigger than 15" would bring down the purpose of the laptop: mobility.
