Hi, long time ago I encryted my chat logs, but I forgot the password is there a way to change the password?
please I really need this information... perhaps I can send the file to someone and they will unlock it.

now I´m screwed

I really should think their could be a forgot your password buttion in plus and it sends your password to the email specified

or a passord reset function like phoenix does for your settings

but then the encyrpt is pointless,

if you wish to encrypt your logs you should use your familiar password or a keyword.

If you persist at trying to "unlock" the data, you can accidentally damage the file hence making it totallly useless

Agreed... But I think it should work like MSN's secret question/answer system... And it should be reminded that many people forget their password so they should actually try and do something that they'll remember

OH... and I really want that conversation ... I can´t believe I don´t have the password, I use like 3 or 4 passwords for everything...
