Basically - I can't see Google Ads

When I ask everyone if they can see the ads.. they say yes.. but I can't.

I've tried viewing in Firefox - nothing appears
Internet Explorer - Yellow bar comes up - I accept - nothing appears

This Page has Google Ads on it. Can anyone see them?

Any ideas why I can't?

I see them yea (using FF 1.07) but isn't not seeing ads a good thing ?

have you got a ad-blocker installed?

also, can you go on http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/?

I'd suggest checking out your HOSTS file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) in Notepad... You could well have a line in there telling your computer that google's ads are hosted on your computer (and obviously it can't find them there...)

Nope:


I see in the hosts file:
127.0.0.1    adwords.google.com
127.0.0.1    pagead.googlesyndication.com
127.0.0.1    pagead2.googlesyndication.com

delete those three lines, restart your browser and it should wokr

works now, thanks.

I needed to view them because i'm maknig a website and you have to have google ads on them.. and it couldn't see them
