Never tried yet but how do you set yourself away here instead of online..

user cp-->edit profile and it's down the bottom there

Well i've done that... and still there appears online :/ I have done lordy16's comment. People may see if i'm online..

Away only shows if you're Offline. Online always shows, regardless of whether you're away or not. Unless you're invisible. Then Online will never show to normal users.

i have a question of my own, when im currently at the forums logged in then it shows Online, but does it show online when i dont exit out of the browser just go to a different website?

and what does it show when i exit the browser and dont log myself out

(i stay logged in all the time, no loggin out)

After a period of 15 minutes of inactivity on these forums you are no longer considered being Online. As the Who's Online list says, users active the past 15 minutes. It'll show Offline after those 15 minutes of inactivity here

inactivity means not posting, ur just not browsing?
