i have msn messenger 7.5.But something strange happened.I have the messenger since 2 days and i added almost 40 ppl in my contacts.Some of then came online and i saw their names instead for their e mail.But maybe i did something and when some of them went offline i saw their e mails and not their names!!Any explanation of that and what did i possilbly do?

Contacts > Manage Contacts > View Contacts > Select Display Name.

Note if you use Messenger Plus! and the custom name feature, it requires View by Email to associate the custom name with the contact.

i already had that with the display name.Any other guess about my question ??

Could your friends just have removed their nick name? If you remove your nick name it shows up as your email address that is the only other possibility.

no i dont think they removed it.Isnt there any other explanation

i have another problem now i have added someone to both msn adresses i use and in the one of them i see him online but away from the pc,but in the other one i dont see him at all online!!How is that possible?

Has your contact accepted both of your invites to add them to your lists. Might not have accepted the one but did the other. Delete the contact and read add. Its the most logical step.

i dont think he didnt accept my invite..he told me that he accepted it and i see that he has added me to his contacts.Something else?
