When I try to start my computer the general boot-up works and then when Windows starts to load, a blue screen comes up with an error:
MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

The computer now works only in safe mode.
I have tried System Restore but it didn't help.  Does anyone know what would cause this error?  I am using Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2.

those screens are called BOSD's and is mostlikely a hardware failure caused by for ex. your soundcard or videocard. That hardware failure may be caused by the driver of it. Update your drivers.

As far as I know, this means two devices are conflicting. Try uninstalling the device driver for the most recent peice of hardware you upgraded and rebooting, or choosing the log bootup option in the F8 menu to see what starts before the crash happens.

says "Tracking down which drivers in the system caused the error is difficult, because the trail of the first driver has been covered by the second. However, the driver stack for the current request can be found by examining the device object fields in each of the stack locations." but i haven't a clue on what this either a: means or b: how to find the drivers.  I have looked at my bootlog and I haven't found anything.
