I have used Pentium 4's and AMD's and i must say that the AMD was quite a bit better, despite them both supposedly having the same clock speed

Nerds go for AMD, so why not.. follow the squad leader I suppose

i have an AMD 64 or whatever, its been better then previous intel ones....

AMD 64 seems to run much cooler than the previous Athlon XP. I find it better than any comparable Intel at less cost.

I think you've got that the wrong way around. AMD chips are much cooler (temperature wise) than Intel, Intel cpus get hot really fast...

I prefer AMD, purely because they run much better than Intel, and they have much better performance... If you compare a 2.7GHz AMD and a 3GHz Intel, then the AMD would be running better ...
