ok on my msn messenger contacts list, i have people sorted by groups, but two of them that are supposed to be in a certain group, everytime they come  online they apper on 2 groups. has anyonw come accross this?

If yo right-click on any contact and then group options, it gives you the option to copy a contact to another group. You can simply delete the one you don't want and the other one should be fine.

EDIT: to be on the safe side, instead of deleting the contact, right-click it and select remove contact from group.

i tried, deleted it from one and went away from both groups, tried draging them onto another group but it wont let me either.

it wont let me put the contatc on the same group that it is already on

Huh? If it's already in the group why do you need to put the other one in the same group?? Just remove the one that's in th wrong group by right-clicking it and selecting remove.
