O.P. appearing offline
After trying it out, i decided i like the idea of appearing offline after a few minutes of inactivity. i am using msn version 7.5.0311 and Messenger Plus version 3.61.145.  it worked for awhile. i havent added any programs to this computer. the only plugin i run is stuffplug.ng. but lately, it randomly goes back online, regardless if the mouse is moved or not. from my logging, it seems to go back online after 5 mins of being offline. any way of solving that?

Does it go back to online status without you touching the keyboard aswell?
Maybe this has nothing to do with it but your mouse could be very sensitive, slightest movement could cause it to change your status.
You're still breathing? Why?

Is your status changing to "Away"? You may need to disable the auto change status option that Plus! features.

Under Plus! preferences > General > Miscellaneous

I'm under the impression that's the feature he is using to make his status "Appear Offline".
Did you disable the MSN Messenger auto-away option?

yeah that was the feature i was using to change it to appear offline, instead of auto away. and yes, it was disabled. , i may be a cheerleader, but im not clueless:P
ive seemed to fix the problem by doing away with my screen saver
so therefore, everytime my screen saver would come on, it would put me back as online
after telling my screen saver not to come on anymore, and just have the monitor shut off, it seems to be working fine
so i think thats a bug
unless its meant to happen that way?

Do you have messenger set to change your status to busy when using a fullscreen app? Because this could cause your status to change to busy when the screen saver runs, and then set your status to online once you exit the screen saver.
