when i try open my email or any link on IE 6, it comes out the not found error but something is added to the url
res://shdoclc.dll/DNSERROR.HTM#http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/sbox?..........
can anyone help ?

if you are not an ie7 beta tester than you should not be using the software, and nobody here can really help you.
if you are a bete tester then you should have the resources to find what the problem is or you should be reporting a bug.

im on 6 now and same problem, the part  at the beggining of the url is gone, but still it wont display

what browsers do you have installed?  an as Lizard said if you not a Beta Tester (officially ) we cant help you here

Isn't it just a DNS as the error indicates

are you using mail beta?

well now neitehr mesenger or IE works, am using ie 6, opera, firefox. i think a format coming my way

Check your browser securiry
2) Clear your cookies and cache
3) reset your internet connection.
4) reboot your machine then try

IE is a mega problem lately with me ..have you tried to use the same thing on Firefox or opera?

I cannot open or access emails on IE at all..so i simply use Firefox now..problem solved.

I guess you've been using IE7? Have you installed IE6 correctly?
