Update
December 29th, 2005:
EasySearch Plus! includes now 10 Search-Engines:
- Google
- A9
- Wikipedia
- PicSearch
- Altavista
- Yahoo!
- Answers
- MSN Search
- Search.com
- LookSmart
You can search for Websites, Audio, Videos, Groups, News, Maps and Encyclopedia. As little 'extra' you can do Googlefights!
Special Thanks to CookieRevised for looking at the SourceCode and fixing the bugs!
To open the Search-Window, type:
/xESPSearch
To open the About-Dialog type:
/xESPAbout
To open the Configure-Window, type:
/xESPConfigure or /xESPConfig
To make a QuickSearch type:
/xQS <search text> <search engine> <search type>
(for the <search type> part, you can use the first Letter. P.E. for 'Websites' type 'w', or for 'Pictures' type 'p' or any abbrivation starting with that first letter for that matter.
(note: these can change per language)
eg: for 'Websites': 'web', 's', 'site', etc... for 'Pictures': 'pic', 'i', 'imag', 'images', etc...)
Also, the GoogleFight can be done from the command line now:
/xQS <search text1> | <search text2> Google Fight
eg:
/xQS dark vader|yoda g f
The additional alternative abbrivations for the search engines are:
(note: these are language independant, they are not translatable)
For AltaVista: 'alta', 'vista', 'av'
For Answers: 'answer'
For LookSmart: 'look', 'smart', 'ls'
For MSN Search: 'msn', 'ms'
For PicSearch: 'pic'
For Search.com: 'search'
For Wikipedia: 'wiki', 'wp'
For Yahoo!: 'yahoo', 'y'
And any other word/letter triggers the Google search.
Feel free to send me
