When I try to go to Hotmail either via the msn messenger email count or simply typing in the url, it remembers my email address but never my password - despite having the 'remember my email address and password' option checked.

This has only happened for the last couple of weeks or so and I can't think of any changes I have made.

Any ideas? Thanks

Not that I can remember but possibly. I did consider this but then I didn't think it made sense seeing as every time I have logged in since I have selected the option to remember password. I thought this would have reset the cookie even if it had been removed. ( ? )

Do you close the browser window when you are done with it? You may have it set to clear cookies on close so that once you are done, the cookies are gone and you would still have to re-enter your password each time you go to the site. Does it happen with any other websites?

No, all other websites are fine for remembering usernames and passwords.

are you using stuffplus's polygramy - or other polygramy software for msn if tghere is any?

Well I have the Stuffplug polygamy enabled, but I never use it (well not for a few months).

To backtrack on what I said earlier about all other passwords being rememembered fine - well I just realised that I'm using the new Hotmail which doesn't work with Firefox and so have to use IE, whereas all of my passwords that work are in FF. I don't use IE for anything else so don't have any preset passwords. Still though, this problem didn't occur not too long ago so I still don't have a clue.
