O.P. Firefox visual problem
I updated my firefox from 1.0.7 to the 1.5 full release, and the bottom bar is too thick. Does anyone know why this is? It has happened with all of the betas and release candidates, hence my downgrading to 1.0.7 until the final.

RE: Firefox visual problem
do you have any visual styles installed? WindowsBlinds? If so, it might be a problem with the skin rather than with Firefox.
Try putting Firefox on the exceptions list

I just did a reinstall and deleted the application data folder, but this hasn't solved the problem. I have no plugins installed now. Another issue is when I right-click the bar with file, edit etc and press customize, they become greyed out and I can't click on them.

Your not susposed to be able to click them while in that mode , a popup is susposed to show with all the buttons you can drag/remove from there.

also btw it looks like a theme problem.

The popup doesn't appear, and I don't think it is a theme problem because my friend uses the same theme and his ff is fine.

Ok then try running it in safe mode!
To do this do the following:
<Start><Programs><Mozilla Firefox><Mozilla Firefox(safe mode)>
Then run in prgrams one at a time.
