Nothing as trivial as life.

I'm getting to see my kids for the first time since me and their mum had a fairly severe argument back in April and I left the house for all of our sakes.

Only problem with that is, as I am working on xmas eve (and can't get to them that evening or xmas day) the only way I can see my kids is through a webcam feed that my wife is setting up for me.

damn, what's wrong with you people? Don't you belive in Santa and dwarves? They will bring you a gift, so you cannot guess what will you get.

Well, this xmas day isn't going according to plan.

Found out from my wife that my oldest son (8 years) has been getting quite agitated since he discovered that we (me and their mum) were talking again.

As a result of his behaviour getting slightly worse since finding out, I have suggested to Debbie that we do not do the xmas day webcam as planned, if only for the sake of the kids and also to prevent my oldest boy resenting his mother if he found out we were setting things up behind his (or his siblings backs).

Oh boy, the pain and heartache I'm feeling right now is bordering on unbearable.  Joking aside, I think I'm gona make a phonecall to the samaritans before I totally lose it and do something stupid.

I'm sure it will work out in the end, but I'm running out of things to keep telling myself to try to keep my chin up and look on the positive side.
