i just installed MSNM v7.5.0322 becuase it fixed some sign in problems which i have all the time. after installing it, the program doesnt run properly. It shows the icon in the taskbar but i cant left or right click it, and double clicking doesnt do anything either. i terminated messenger plus becuase i thought that might affect it, but it had no affect.
any ideas on this?
[Edit] Also if i pin/unpin from the start menu or open a shortcut, except for the desktop one, it will open an windows installer dialog then close

Terminate Plus! before your startup MSN Messenger, not during or after.

If this still doesn't fix it, then it could be a MSN Messenger bug, so you might wanna report it....

This sounds like you have far more problems than MSN Messenger. What you describe can indicate a problem with your Windows shell installation. Are you running any other programs (except msn messenger and Plus!?), styling programs (windowsblinds), shell replacements, some monitors or other memory resident programs? Did you installed anything lately (except for .322)
