I'm not sure... cuz family members who have WLM and are noobs can click on the link.. but I have no idea if WLM has protection.. i think the protection is for sharing folders..

Doesn't matter if it does. The creator will likely be able to work around it. Microsoft isn't known for any miracle cures for any form of malware.
