O.P. How to create (develop) MSN Winks ?
Hello,
I have a question, i'm interested to create MSN Winks.
I think that i need Macromedia Flash for create the animation (i can develop with it), but i don't know how to convert the SWF file format to MSN.
Please, can you help me ? Do u know how can i create winks ?

Anyway, winks can only be played in msn if you purchase an expensive digital signature from microsoft. And you're correct about the fact that they are flash files. |

Sorry for the website, is my sign...
I've found a few weeks ago a software to create MSN winks (link theses on www.angel2005.be, there works) ... who convert flash --> MCO (not sure for the format)
I think that is possible to create winks (not official lol), but i dont find the software now... ...

you can create them alright...but it won't work because it needs to be digitally signed by microsoft, or bluemountain.

Even if it was, when you send a wink you must send it through the MSN server. The MSN server will check if the wink is digitally signed by microsoft or bluemountain. You won't be able to digitally sign your own wink (or edited wink), so it will never be sent to any of your contacts. Unless you're willing to pay loads of money to get that certification from Microsoft.
