when i try and sign in it trys for about 5 seconds (literally) then it just stops.  like it cant.  anyone know why?
im using a Router.   but i havent heard of this happening to anyone else.

edit:
when i try to signin it looks like it changes my password.  even if i retype it.  it add's more characters then it actually is.

I use a router as well and it works fine for me, maybe send an email to microsoft about it OR if your an official tester then post it in the newsgroups.

Don't worry about the password thing, its a common occurance for programs these days to change the amount of the password character to make it harder for other people to crack your password. For instance if your password is 5 characters and it appears in WLM as lets say.. 12 characters, then anyone trying to crack your password will have no idea what the real length of your password is!
