I just want to find out how do I un-install WLM, because I installed it with haste, and then realised without msgplus, I just cannot use MSN. So I've decided to go back to MSN 7.5, however I do not want to lose my personal files such as stored display pictures and emoticons. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

well you will still have all your emoticons and display pictures if you know where u saved them (e.g.  display pic1 saved in my documents)  all you can do is go to the add custom emoticons and find the emoticon where ever you saved it.  and just browse your files as well to find your display pics.

Well the display pictures are not important, but I wouldn't want to lose all the emoticons that I have...(it might be sad, but I have over 500)

toCookieRevised has said this in an older thread how to backup these,,but to back them up if you have XP go to  C:\Documents and Settings\User Account\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger

You can easily downgrade to MSN Messenger without losing any files such as your display pictures. There is no need to back them up

i uninnstalled WLM and reinsatlled MSN, and switched between the 2 because i was having trouble with WLM and i didnt lose my emoticons!

So if I am not mistaken, simply un-installing it without doing anything else and re-installing MSN 7.5 will make me not lose any of my emoticons?

(I must say it is harder everyday to use WLM without Plus, but it is also hard to go back to MSN 7.5...what to do, what to do?)
